The two replacement devices mainly, ASR XL and the ASR system of resurfacing were developed by a manufacturer of Depuy Hip Recall. The two main systems have caused great anxiety and distress among the sufferers who had been a part of this surgery. Since years there have been many patients affected by replacement of hips.
